1 Degree of Separation - A Look at Depression

A Funny Look at Depression and Suicide

Clean comedy. Personal stories. Honest conversation. A shared experience that gives your audience a practical place to begin talking about depression and suicide.

Meaningful conversations start with connection.

A welcoming space to laugh, listen, and begin an honest conversation.

The audience experience

A conversation you can be part of.

The presentation begins with clean stand-up comedy, giving the audience a chance to laugh together. Then the comedians share their own experiences with depression in a candid panel conversation.

They demonstrate the Five Questions and show what it looks like to listen, ask, and connect. The focus is on understanding a person’s experience and finding a practical starting point for peer conversations.

The comedians answer each of these questions from their own experience, modeling an honest conversation.

  1. 1What does your depression feel like?
  2. 2What do others do that makes it worse?
  3. 3What do you do that makes it worse?
